Athens, April 28, 2015 - Mellon Technologies, parent company of Mellon Group of Companies, is one the few companies in Greece that has opted to be audited for the application of the ISO 26000 guidelines on social responsibility. Mellon was assessed by TÜV Austria Hellas who established that the company’s policies were drawn up in accordance to the standard, awarding the appropriate confirmation.
ISO 26000 is a voluntary international standard for social responsibility that addresses seven core subjects of social responsibility. These core subjects are organizational governance, human rights, labor practices, the environment, fair operating practices, consumer issues and community involvement and development.
