The premier conference on Blockchain technologies was held in Athens, from the 14th to 16th of November. The world-class summit, which was organized by the University of Nicosia, featured more than 70 speakers and 1,000 attendees from over 50 countries, all aiming at exchanging their knowledge and ideas on the implications of blockchain technologies on a business and political level.
The topics of the rich agenda spanned from the most recent technology advancements and GDPR, to the ethical and societal impacts of blockchain and the various applications of these technologies for various sectors including the financial, education and aviation one.
During the summit, George Panou, Digital Innovation Manager at Mellon Group of Companies and a member of the board of the Hellenic Blockchain Hub, delivered a presentation around the dissemination of knowledge about the blockchain technology in Greece.
